My name is Tiffany and I am a professional photographer who just moved from San Diego to San Francisco. 

 

For the past 17 years I have been a professional photographer focusing on women and children. Since my move one year ago, I have decided to take a different turn as an artist. One that focuses directly on artists as clients. I feel there is a sweet connection here that has been missing for me, and my heart deeply desires to work specifically with artists.

 

In order to do this, I need to build a completely new segment of images to fill up a portfolio of artist work. This is where YOU come in!

 

As an artist, your portrait reveals the human behind your creation. It gives the story of your art a face; a way for your potential buyers to connect with you, the Creator. I know how important this portrait is and what it needs to say about you. It's not merely a photo being taken of you - its a glimpse into your inner world, a world that tells the deeper story behind your artwork.

The person who takes this photo of you would need to be able to really "see" you. The deeper, more intricate you - and they would need to be able to put what they see into a few powerful images that can tell your story succinctly and effectively.

 

I do not take this process lightly. I will work with you to understand the palimpsest of who you are, so that I can create an image of you that aligns with the story that you want the world to read and feel about you.

Since I am seeking to add this segment to my current portfolio of work, I am looking for a handful of artists who need portraits done (either of themselves, their work or both) that want to work with me to create a portfolio of images that I can use myself for promotional material to market myself to other artists.

 

Due to my limited portfolio of examples, I am offering these sessions in a greatly reduced package that will include the following:

THE PACKAGE INCLUSIONS

​

• 2 hour pre-shoot in-person consultation so that I can hear from you the story of who you are, why you do the work you do and so that I can view the work you do ideally in your studio setting. I would then also assess the ability to do your shoot in your art studio, or work area and I would guide you on what wardrobe or other items would need to be present for the shoot to truly reflect you the way you desire.

• Up to 2 hour photoshoot, ideally in your studio. If a studio is not available, I have a studio in San Mateo that we can use for your shoot. You would need to be able to get yourself and your artwork to the studio for this option. I would not pay to transport artwork. 

• ​1 hour photo review of all of your images, within 2 weeks of your shoot

• 3 final retouched images from your images, delivered in both color and black and white, high resolution with limited rights release for your use for your business, website, etc. *Copyrights and Usage rights for authors or for sellable art books, not included. Additional images will be $100 each (regularly $150 each).                                                                                            

THE PACKAGE RATE

 

The regular rate of this package is $1100. For this portfolio building exercise I am offering this package for $400, for up to 5 total artists. If you have artist friends or colleagues that might be interested in this, please pass this along to them.

THE DETAILS

 

A $200 deposit would be required to book your session with me. This is non-refundable. This fee can be transferred to another date if necessary, IF rescheduled within 72 hours of your shoot date and time. For any last minute cancellations, the deposit will not be transferred. There will be no refunds on this deposit for any reason. As you can imagine, I will put a lot of work into these sessions (even prior to your shoot), so I hope you understand.

The remainder of your session fee will be due prior to your final retouched photo delivery. If you choose additional images during your review, the fees would be due the date of selection. Additional images are $100 each with discounting available on packages of 5 additional images or more.

THE TRADE EXPECTATION

​

Since I am offering these packages at 35% of normal price, I do expect to be able to use the images in marketing and advertising materials that I will use to promote to other artists. I will request written permission from you prior to the shoot that you agree to your photos being used for marketing purposes.

FINAL IMAGE DELIVERY

​

From the date of your final selections to the date of final delivery (post retouching) typically takes 10 - 14 days. My retoucher has worked on photos that have graced the covers of major fashion magazines such as Vogue Italia and Glamour Magazine in the UK. He is absolutely fantastic! Anything you don't want to be a part of your final image will be transformed into something you will love for years to come! All images are delivered in high resolution .jpeg format in both color and black and white. Your images will be delivered in a beautiful online gallery that mimics your own private website. You can use this to download, order prints or share with family and friends easily.

NO PRINTED IMAGES ARE INCLUDED, but are available at an additional cost.
